FAQ

Welcome to the FAQ for Desiree Sanchez Studio.

Here you'll find answers about ordering botanical art prints, journal shipping, returns, custom artwork, and licensing.

Whether you're purchasing a fine art print or joining The Nest newsletter, we’re here to help.

  • Each canvas print is professionally printed on archival-quality, textured canvas using fade-resistant inks. Journals feature a soft-touch matte hardcover and cream-colored, lined pages with a subtle texture - ideal for writing or sketching. All products are thoughtfully sourced for both durability and beauty.

  • Yes! Canvas prints are made using archival inks and materials, designed to last for years without fading. Journals are made-to-order to reduce waste and feature FSC-certified paper wherever possible. Sustainability is an ongoing goal and guiding value in my process.

  • All designs are original illustrations by me, Desiree Sanchez. My work is inspired by botanical forms, quiet moments, and the patterns that can be found in nature. Each piece begins as a hand-drawn or sketched curiosity before becoming part of a finished design.

  • All of my artwork is created digitally, using a drawing tablet and stylus. Each piece is sketched and illustrated by hand within a digital space, allowing for both control and fluidity. I’m always exploring ways to infuse my digital work with the warmth and texture of traditional media - aiming for an analog feel that reflects the natural world I’m inspired by.

  • We offer flexible pricing based on project type and complexity. After an initial conversation, we’ll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs.

  • Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. We're here to guide the process, bring ideas to the table, and keep things moving.

Returns & Exchanges for Art Prints and Journals

  • Because each item is made to order, I’m unable to accept returns or exchanges unless your item arrives damaged or defective. I believe in creating with care and do my best to ensure every piece meets high-quality standards. However, please reach out to desireesanchestudio@gmail.com with any questions or concerns regarding your order

  • I’m so sorry that happened! Please email me within 7 days of receiving your order, and include photos of the damage along with your order number. I’ll work with my production partner to send you a replacement right away.

  • Since items begin production shortly after ordering, cancellations or changes must be requested within 12 hours of purchase. Please reach out as soon as possible if something needs adjusting, and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

Custom, Wholesale & Licensing

  • At this time, I don’t offer fully custom commissions. However, if you’re interested in a different size or variation of an existing piece, feel free to reach out - I’d be happy to see what’s possible.

  • Yes! I welcome thoughtful licensing opportunities that align with my work. If you’re an art director or brand interested in licensing designs, please get in touch via the contact page or email me directly at desireesanchezstudio@gmail.com

  • I’m open to limited wholesale or collaboration inquiries, especially with shops or brands that share a love for slow living, nature, and thoughtful design. Let’s start a conversation - I’d love to hear what you have in mind.

  • I do my best to respond to all custom or licensing inquiries within 2–3 business days. As a one-person studio, I appreciate your patience — your message matters, and I look forward to connecting with you.

Newsletter & Community

  • Subscribers receive gentle, seasonal notes from the studio - including early access to new collections, behind-the-scenes peeks at my process, and occasional thoughtful gifts or printables. It’s quiet and intentional, NEVER spammy.

  • At this time, I send emails only a few times a season, in rhythm with the creative flow of the studio. Think of it as a slow newsletter - something you’ll actually want to open (I hope), with beauty and meaning inside. There may come a time when I write more often, but rest assured: I’m not the daily-email type.

  • My hope is to create a quiet corner of the internet where beauty, thoughtfulness, and creative curiosity are always welcome. Over time, I envision this space becoming more than just updates- a gentle dialogue between artist and observer. You're warmly invited to reply, reflect, and be part of a slower, more meaningful rhythm. As being an artist can often feel solitary, I truly welcome your presence and contributions.
